When will the CSU renovation project be completed?
The projected is scheduled to be completed in two phases. The 1st phase is the ground level/1st floor which is scheduled to be ready by the start of the Spring Semester, January 18, 2004. The second phase is the lower level which is scheduled to be completed by the time people return from Spring Break, March 21, 2005.
What are in Phases 1 & 2 of the project?
Phase 1 includes the renovated food court, the relocated HUB/information Center, a new meeting room and renovated restrooms including a Unisex restroom.Phase 2 of the project includes a food court, a specialty dining area, a renovated computer lab, a student art gallery, a new elevator, new lounge spaces, a multi purpose programming space and a new Grand Stairwell from the second floor to the outside of the building on the South side of campus.
What food concepts are in the two food courts?
The 1st floor food court will include two national brands Taco Bell with an expanded menu and Chick-Fil-A. The 1st floor food court will also include an expanded Grab & Go area, Sub Generations, the Coffee House with Freshens and an exhibition food cooking area.
The lower level food court will include the Maverick Grill and the Tuscan Oven.
Will there be expanded hours of operations for the food courts?
Yes, the lower level food court will be open until 9PM Monday –Thursday and the 1st floor Coffee House will be open until 12midnight Monday-Thursday.

Will Sandella’s and the Bookworm Café remain open?
Yes, both concepts will remain open.
Will Stompers be renamed?
Yes, the Student Union Board is working on the renaming process. They plan on having a new name for the food courts and the Coffee House by the start of the Spring semester.
Will there be lobby and banner spaces in the renovated Student Union?
Yes but we are still not sure how many and their locations. We are waiting to see the new traffic patterns before deciding on the lobby and banner spaces.
When the Construction Café closes in December will the Ballroom return to its preconstruction capacities?
No, when the overall project is completed in March, the Ballroom will return to its preconstruction capacities.
